Mental Health Support Services

Ensuring optimal mental health is crucial for overall well-being and professional success, especially for the significant number of veterans facing mental health challenges.

Our comprehensive mental health support services cater to the diverse needs of individuals.

Thanks to the generous donation of 10 FLOW headsets from our charitable trading partner, Valholl Trading Company Ltd, we are well equipped to address depression among veterans.

Participants in our training and employment programme qualify for tailored mental health therapies following a personalised assessment, emphasising our commitment to fostering the mental well-being of those who have served.

Depression Assessment
Depression Assessment

In our mental health services for veterans, we employ the BDI as a quick and standardised screening tool to identify, measure and assess depressive symptoms. It helps us tailor individualised mental health therapy and treatments for veterans seeking support before participating in our employability programmes.

Suicide Risk Assessment
Suicide Risk Assessment

A suicide risk assessment is a crucial tool for gauging self-harm potential in individuals with mental health issues. In the context of veterans seeking help from Til Valhalla charity, it plays a key role in the early stages of our mental health services. By evaluating factors like mental health history and current stressors, it allows for targeted interventions, ensuring timely and personalised support.
